BTP-Games is a Georgia-based Limited Liability Company founded in 2025. The primary goal is to build knowledge and real-world skills by incorporating tabletop gaming into learning. To that end, BTP-Games hosts summer day camps focused on history and problem-solving for middle and high school age participants.

Phil’s Origin Story

I have always loved games. I first played Air War in 1982 then read everything I could on air combat, jet fighters, and modern warfare. That eventually led to exploration of other topics, more boardgames, and a career in national security. Boardgames and books have always been my first step to better understand topics.

My recent retirement from Fort Eisenhower marks the beginning of a new chapter. Joey and I discussed running a history camp as a potential venue to share knowledge and experience with young people, and BTP-Games was born. This offers me the opportunity to be a part of the gaming hobby and positively influence participants and families across the Augusta area.
